Overview
Very little is known about African “science.” How do indigenous knowledge systems provide ways to heal ailments, know how to read weather patterns to plan for food security and even know how to tell someone’s medical condition with no blood tests and examinations? Such indigenous knowledge is typically not taught and unknown to Africa’s youth. Convened by the Mandela Institute for Development Studies, this webinar will thus focus on reviving and creating awareness and interest into the African way of Science and technology and Africa’s contribution to this field.
